OUR HISTORY
1997: Founding
In 1997, with a bold vision and a toolbox full of experience, entrepreneur Kris Chayer set out to change the game. Armed with a deep background in machine design, manufacturing, and automotive tool and die, Kris saw a unique opportunity: bring powerful automation to the often-overlooked world of pallet recycling. That’s when Automated Machine Systems (AMS) was born—not just as a company, but as a mission to revolutionize an industry.
